Quarters of fried chicken breast in special sauce. Potato salad, baked potato, red and white slaw, baked mac and cheese, hamburger buns as rolls.

JRs/Newtowne shopping center I-77 exit 50 Statesville
Open around 11-3, 5-9 M-Fri Steak, sandwiches, salads, wings. Alpine chalet style eclectic architecture in a strip mall. Its been around for more than 10 years.

My favorite places :-)

These sound like great spots to try. I'm down in the area some over the next few weeks, so I'll make sure I stop by for a few meals.

We've actually eaten in a few places in the area. Most recently we had a lunch at Lupie's in Huntersville. It wasn't quite as good as the time I wrote it up, but it was still good.

The post was entitled, "Dining along side roads-Lupie's" and can be found at:

We've also visited the "Cookhouse" in Cornelius which I wrote about in my post, "Country Ham" which is at:

I'll look forward to the "new" spots that I can add to my reviews.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving some suggestions.
