Webmail has been an inexact science. The thing that could be most detrimental could actually be the archiving. Gmail offers enough storage to last a lifetime. I heard a story about a guy who was using quotes from old emails ex. "I will meet you around 6 for the meeting." Guy obviously did not show up because he was never told about any such meeting. Bigstring allows me to recall, erase, or destruct messages before or after they have been read. Also includes email tracking with a GB for free. It could be worth looking into.
