We were in Yadkin County, North Carolina yesterday, Friday May 27. It was haying time. We saw everything from round bales to a crew working on loading the small traditional square bales. We also saw a couple of great fields of wheat growing. We had a great visit with my cousin Annette and her husband Joe. They treated us to a delicious meal of pinto beans cooked with a ham hock, corn bread, cabbage, and hominy. It was a great country meal. I created a new set with some farming photos on my site at Flickr.
